Linking Learning to LifeLinking Learning to Life is a non-profit organization that develops and manages a wide range of programs and services that help K-12 age youth prepare for life after high school, especially related to careers and continuing education. The organization plays a critical role of connecting schools with businesses, colleges, and other community organizations to create exciting student learning opportunities. These opportunities include mentoring, community service, leadership development, career exploration, internships, paid employment and college access. Why LLL?
Because young Vermonters learn by doing! At the core of any LLL program, you will find real life learning experiences that build the essential 21st century skills that are needed to succeed. Each of our programs fit under at least one of the 3 C's - Career, College, and Community. The 3 C's are critical parts of building a successful life...and go to the very heart of prevening potentially devastating and costly societal problems such as unemployment, poverty, and homelessness.
Each year, we impact between 4,000 - 6,000 of Vermont's young people by getting them out in the community to learn vital job and life skills. |
